Information about the BlackBerry Bold 9790

The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is positioned as the little brother of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 . The 9900 replaced the BlackBerry Bold 9780 , which given the name the only true predecessor of the Bold 9790. The 9790 comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, a trademark of the BlackBerry. You will not need but still want to use the fast BlackBerry OS 7? Then check out the BlackBerry Bold 9860 .

Key features of the BlackBerry Bold 9790

• 1 GHz processor
• 5 megapixel camera
• BlackBerry OS 7
• Expandable memory up to 32GB

Who is the BlackBerry Bold 9790?

The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is a smartphone aimed at business as well as the youth market. Business because of the skill with which your emails and send messages through the secure network of RIM. Aimed at young people because of the simple sending of SMS messages and send unlimited messages via BB messenger. There's more, the Bold 9790 is extremely compact, and you have a phone that is also fine in the pocket of your suit fits four-piece, or in your small-to-be-useful-to-have handbag.

Advantages of the BlackBerry Bold 9790

The full keyboard, the four buttons above and the wide screen are typical issues which you recognize a BlackBerry. The Bold 9790 is thus a distance difficult to distinguish from other models of the Bold series. The design is thus not really innovative, but very recognizable and intuitive.

What is more innovative that the BlackBerry Bold 9790 on OS 7 features, a further development of the previous BB OS. It is a simple and accessible system. A 1 GHz processor keeps everything running. Really not that impressive, but OS 7 is not too heavy so the Bold is still very fast.

The full keyboard tap away from it and that is mainly due to the shape of the keys. They stabbing a bit so you never have two buttons simultaneously. Also know by the shape (see picture) exactly when you've reached the middle two buttons without having to look forward. Cleverly done.

Downsides of the BlackBerry Bold 9790

With 5 megapixel camera is in line with the standard one and a half years ago. Today, virtually all phones more megapixels. So far, however, all BlackBerrys equipped with the same 5 megapixel camera.

A second possible disadvantage is that you still with your BlackBerry Internet provider must close to all of RIM (BlackBerry manufacturer) services offered to benefit. Without BlackBerry Internet you can not bivoorbeeld BB Messenger. We understand that this is especially useful for business users because it is so heavily encrypted email traffic, but for the average consumer may be an additional barrier.
