Apple's iPhone Event: new iPhone 4S

The Apple iPhone Event has just ended. Unfortunately, this event also goes by without the iPhone 5. However, a significantly improved version of the iPhone 4 shown: the Apple iPhone 4S.

iPhone 4S

Many rumors were true, only the name of the iPhone turned out differently. There is no iPhone 5 shown tonight. What there was, was the iPhone 4S. A phone with the look of the iPhone 4, but greatly improved.

The iPhone 4S receives the same processor as the iPad: the A5. This gives 7 times faster graphics than the iPhone 4 and 2x faster overall performance.

The other improvements are on the inside:

• Dual-core processor and graphics
• Twice as fast CPU
• Slightly better battery (8 hours 3G talk time, 14 hours 2G talk time, 6 hours of 3G browsing, 9 hours Wi-Fi)
• World Phone (GSM and CDMA)
• Completely new camera with 8 megapixel sensor (3264 × 2448)
• 1080p HD video
• New antenna: intelligent switch between receiving and sending data

When will the iPhone 4S?

The new device comes to the United States (U.S.) and some other major countries.

The iPhone 4S is both white and black in three versions for sale: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The prices in the U.S.:

• 64 GB $ 399
